Wilson Central drilled the Green Wave 28-14 tonight. It wasn't as close as the score either. Wilson has got a Jr QB named Aaron Scott who has a cannon for an arm (I wonder if he is being recruited by the Vols). They also have a tailback named JT Majors who can fly. He is just a sophomore I think. As for Gallatin, I think there was a Randy Sanders sighting :D . This is the most anemic offense I ever remember in Gtown. On defense, the Green Wave were shredded by Scott and co. It'll be a long rest of the season for Gallatin I'm afraid.

White co/sparta ranked 10th in the state with their only loss coming to arch rival Cookeville. :good:

I tell you what, they are a really good team. The QB, Scott, has got a serious arm. Their first offensive play was an 82 yd td pass to #3. The pass went a good 40 yards in the air and the WR outran the secondary the rest of the way.

I was surprised to here a Robert Lassiter team get handled the way Wilson Central gave it to them. I was broadcasting the PJPII-MBA game last night on schoolsportsradio.com and called the Gallatin pressbox at the half. Wilson Central is coached by Robert's former assitant at Gallatin and Hendersonville, Dewayne Alexander. Dewayne must have some good players. The JP2 MBA game was a total mismatch.

I was too, especially on defense. Lassiter's teams have always been good on D, and it's been a strength @ Gallatin all the way back to the Short years. We just got whipped by a better team last night.

I'll see what I can come up with. I've met them both in the last two months, and they are both a notch above OH MY GOD! in person

BTW welcome to the Volnation! It's nice to have a fellow Sumner County Vol around here :good:
