is not the #1 team in the nation in my eyes. The three headed monster at OSU is formidable, and would receive my vote if I had one.

Duke is not a top 10 team. They have One elite guard, one above average guard, and several slightly above average role players. No real post presence at all, and don't tell me the Plumlees are.

Top 20. yes. most definately. Austin Rivers alone gives them that. Seth Curry breaks them into about 12-14th really. The reason Ohio St is where they are is their post play is in a league of itself (and Craft playing like a snitch on the run).

But no worries, some team will knock them out come tourney time, hell we did it when they had head and shoulders the player of the year.

We'll see how they do if they leave the town of columbus.

If the game on Saturday is close then I would not be surprised to see OSU take over the #1 spot. But if Kentucky handles NC well I think they should continue to hold it. However, it doesn't really matter much at this point in the season.

I think by the end of the season this Kentucky team is going to be amazing. If they lose in the tournament it'll be because they shot themselves in the foot and not because another team was better. Of course, when you rely on this many freshman that's always a good possibility.

Only thing I see that is concerning about OSU at this point is their bench. I saw a stat towards the end of the game last night that the starters had scored 73 out of 75 points...

That's how it's been for some time under Matta. The OSU team we beat in the NCAAT rarely used their bench unless it was necessary.

Right now at this very moment, OSU is a better "team" than UK. Buford, Craft and Sullinger all have a year of experience together, and that offense really moves the ball. However, I expect to reverse this statement come Feb/March. Only thing that does not change is Sullingers advantage against our front court, which is a fairly big one. Davis will get some blocks, but will get pushed around too much down low with his weight. Wiltjer can't play much D. It's going to be a 3 man effort with Jones, and Vargas is going to have to come in and waste some fouls on him as well.
