No matter who wins this race it will probably only be a four year period.

Face it, both candidates cannot fix this mess in 4 years.

If Obama wins he will be questioned on every move he makes. The electorate that puts him in office will not have the patience to see this through and it is gonna to take at least 3 years to even possibly break even. That's if what he does manages not to break what is already being done. Expect the second guessing to start immediately.

If McCain wins you can expect immediate chaos. Starting with the Democrats claiming disenfranchised votes and so on. McCain partisanship will not occur because the Democrats will be so dilusional that they will oppose everything that McCain attempts to push through. Expect possiblity to see the days of protest similiar to the Nixon days and Dupont Square filling up.

If I were one of the parties I would throw the election so that it could be won easily in 2012. Face it we know the market is still headed down and it will get worst before it gets better.

Todays lost will be tommorows gain. We could also see recounts in those close states. This may not be decided until December once again like 2000. This time there could be more than 1 state it could be 5 or 6 states.

We lose because of simple party politics and it will be interesting in the aftermath of Nov 4.
