Have any of ya'll been to a game at Wisconsin or know what there is to do on a football weekend in Madison? I'm flying up to Chicago in September and taking a weekend trip from there to Madison to visit a friend that just moved there. Or anyone know of an affiliate Badger football forum? Thanks.

I went to the Outback Bowl when we played the Badgers. There student section gets a bit wild. It's actually quite entertaining to watch.

you might try their board at scout.com. Only free one I saw in a quick google search and it looks like it has good traffic

Go to The Old Fashioned near the capital for lunch/dinner. This is a can't miss spot.

Awesome food.

Thanks for the info. I just found their forum on Scout and there is a Visiting Madison thread with some good info. It said to park on Regent St. for tailgating and to eat at Ella's Deli or Paisan's. Hoping to keep it pretty cheap. Are those good suggestions? I'll remember The Old Fashioned.

The Scout Badger board has 2 threads that were started around signing day devoted to UT & Kiffin. Interesting perspective from their part. They go back & forth over whether UW should follow UT's lead in hiring big time recruiters.

Your going to a state full of nothing but Beer, Sausage, and cheese.

That gives you 3 great things to do right there.

:worship: BEER.

I never went to a game there but know some guys that did. They said the gameday atmosphere is pretty good, especially for night games. I know right before the 4th quarter they play "Jump Around" and everyone goes crazy.
