Obviously their record is better overall but they also play easier competition. I think the situations at Tennessee and Michigan are eerily similar. We're worse off than them program-wise right now, but their fans may be more morose than ours because Harbaugh was supposed to be their hero who would make the program dominant again. Instead his ceiling is 10-3 with an annual Ohio State loss and no conference championship appearance, and his floor is middle of the conference. That said, Michigan would be dumb to fire him because they can get worse and slip back to Rich Rod/Hoke days in a hurry. Harbaugh may leave on his own accord though.
