I want to believe that perhaps I have simply misunderstood Dumbledorange’s intent, here. He is welcome to set the record straight for me, if that is the case.
To be honest, not what I expected. I was always commenting on the legal aspect and what I expected. I was wrong on the number of games, and I didn’t think they would withdraw the suit for that.
I can already hear the excuses rolling in from Tiger High about how we only beat them because Wisemen wasn't playing, and that our win will be an illegitimate win and that Tennessee is somehow behind the suspension of Wisemen. The script writes itself.
Call me selfish, but I couldn't care less about them being at full strength. I just want to beat them. Anything that upsets the kitty cats is fine with me.

It’s a tossup, but I think we beat them. I’ll take our two senior guards, experienced team, and our hostile environment. That’s going to be mighty tough proposition for a rotation of mainly freshman and a few sophomores.
Memphis fans are blinded by their hatred of UT that they underestimate what they’re really up against.
I heard 3 to 9 games he sits. There is an agreement in place with the NCAA. It won't be 30% or whatever it is. They wanted Wiseman to withdraw, to sit him, and then they announce this week. There was no new info. This from an actual booster.
So Wiseman's momma has to give $12,000 back to "charity" after the high school kid received a "loan" . Memphis played him in 3 games despite the NCAA declaring him ineligible...Wiseman shacked up with Penny in hs, took thousands, and we cant get a kid that didn't even play last season eligible? What a freaking joke! Is it time to boycott the NCAA?
By boycott, you mean sit out going to UT games? Not sure how that hurts the NCAA. The sentiment is solid, just not sure your planning makes a lot of sense.

Seems more like the Memphis/Penny/Wiseman side caved, to me. He was always going to gain eligibility once an investigation was complete and he paid back the money and served a suspension.
