1. Find some scoring options in the portal. It's an absolute must have for next season.

2. Development and progression of Mashack, Aidoo, Awaka, Phillips. I'm going to be curious to see if Mashack progresses like Richardson did. Would like to see Aidoo and Awaka work on their midrange and pick and pop game.

3. Practice free throws. Practice free throws. Practice free throws. Practice free throws. Practice free throws. Practice free throws.

4. Interested to see how the freshman next play. Need someone to step up and be an alpha while ZZ is rehabbing. Mashack is the first one that comes to mind of having that potential dog mentality.

5. Know it's not going to happen because he's set in his ways. But want to see Barnes manage his timeouts better

Keep the streak going of being ranked every week.

It’s a continuous process of being relevant. Next year has the possibility of not regressing.

Win 25 games. Knock off some top 10s. Get back on track by at least beating KY in Knoxville.

Make the 6th straight NCAAT for just the second time EVER. Make the 10th ever Sweet 16.

It’s as though you’ve ever heard the term “good is the enemy of being great”. Not surprised.

Not surprised that you’re taking a crap on the season. Only 8 teams advanced further in the NCAAT. There might only be a couple others that have been ranked EVERY week. Of those, how many had 4 starters miss games with injuries? There are a hundred or more that would trade seasons with TN in a heart beat. TN is no longer a mediocre program.

You can go crawl back in your hole now, troll.

get actual shooters and not someone like Key. Need two point guards and inside game if what we have does not show improvement.

#4 the team needs to be built around guys like this and not guys like JJJ and ON. They had their moments but were mentally soft and lackadaisical.

6. Install a new Offense. The Barnes Offense relies too much on the PG and Motion. Defense intensity hinders our offensive production.

Sincere question and not an attempt to bash Barnes, but this is his offense. I can't remember it being any different in all the years he's been here. Maybe I'm completely wrong? I'm not sure Barnes will think a new offense is necessary. Just need better defense and all will be well. Old dog new tricks kinda thing.

So a sweet 16 berth every year would be awful, right. This fan base acts like we lost a first round game instead of a sweet 16 game. This tourney has been one of upsets, or doesn't your bracket show that?

Awful, no, but we also don't make the S16 every year.

Yes there have been a ton of upsets, but the frustration is it would be nice to once to take advantage of the chaos instead of being a victim of it. I don't know if you've noticed but it doesn't seem to matter if it's chaos or normal, we top out at the S16 either way. If it's chaos and we have a favorable path (2018, 2023), we lose. If we have a great team then play just a straight up good team/bad matchup (2008, 2019), we lose.

At some point you have to breakthrough. Being a good regular season team is great and all but fair or not you're judged by how you do in March. If S16 is basically our ceiling then yeah it's better than sucking but let's be honest it's going to get old having good to great teams never get past the S16. As Rucker said, if it didn't happen now then when is it going to happen.

Also it's kind of BS the circular arguing some are doing around here. People were being criticized for "BVS" and being negative saying they were nervous we were going to lose; then after we lose it immediately goes to "The S16 is great!/upsets happen/we have sucked forever so you should be happy we got this far". So basically yelled at for thinking we are going to lose, then yelled at for not being happy we lost.

When you hold teams to 57 point avg or less and lose 11 games in a season. Something is not right.

We do not have anybody on staff anymore that coaches Offense effectively. As mentioned earlier several players have regressed this year and I agree.

I think coaching is about adjusting your offense to facilitate the best for your players. Instead, this is a Wash Rinse Repeat Cycle the past few years. Barnes Offense is not effective and one reason is because the Defensive intensity drains them. We cannot close a game out because of it.

This team fades in the last 10 minutes of the almost every game. It is a wear you down on offense and defense. We had the subs to feel the game but some players just didn't step up.

Of course there is portal talk and some players (Sr) returning. Wash Rinse and Repeat unless some changes are made. If we could put a defense unit on the court and an offense one like football we would have a great team but this is basketball not football.

Of course the loss of ZZ hurt us because he makes the much needed assist, steal or basket. Defensively he is like a gnat.

CRB is simply jinx. I don't mind the hard nose defense but Uros' keeps making bonehead mistakes after being told not to hurt the team. That flagrant foul is the reason he needs to move on because he does not get it. Told not to do something stupid.

I guess we need a solid defense vs an Elite one because I truly believe it has an extreme affect on the Offensive output/energy. Especially as the season progressed and in the last 10 minutes of the game. We went from world beaters at the first of the season to a tired worn out team.

Someone who can actually handle the ball with both hands and get to the rim, shoot, MAKE layups, box out and rebound, and score down low. That’s all I want for now Santa.

Aidoo midrange jumper is money. Not sure what needs work there. He’s not getting faster and more agile at that size.

Agree barnes has too much faith in the kids sometimes. Need to use timeouts better to quell opposition momentum. And to help us get back to the basics when we start taking bad shots and shooting cold on the hood ones.

Was half asleep when I wrote this.. Agree with Aidoo and the midrange jumper. What I was meaning by that was would like to see the team work on that as more of a focal point. He was almost automatic with it at times
