18-4 Overall (6-2) SEC

Feb. 9 at Vanderbilt 7:00pm
Feb. 13 at Kentucky 9:00pm
Feb. 17 Georgia 8:00pm
Feb. 20 at South Carolina 1:30pm
Feb. 23 at Florida 9:00pm
Feb. 27 Kentucky 12:00pm
Mar. 3 Arkansas 7:00pm
Mar. 6 at Miss. State 6:00pm

I just don't think we can beat UK without playing a Kansas type of game.... I would love a 5-3 finish in league play.... and finish with 23 wins....

Thoughts?

Over/Under 22 Wins?

Williams will have to play, and well to stay with Kentucky. I say this because Cousins will have Chism on the bench with fouls if he has to guard the bigger(2inches and 20lbs) and more athletic cousins. Calapari will certainly tell him and Patterson to go at our best scorer. Williams big body, with Hall and Renaldos help, can keep Chism available to score. Still a long shot, but we seem too feed of longshots at times. A 1/1 split would be awesome, evenmore so after a win at Vandy.

I am hoping we at least make UK earn it at home.... the road games are tough.... not just because of our opponents.... see Georgia's blowout of Vandy yesterday... it's just tough to win on the road anywhere...

We will finish the season by winning out. We will lose in the championships of the sec tournament, but will win the NCAA tourney in dramatic fashion.

We will be down one point with ten seconds to go against Kansas. Pearl will call a time out and draw up a play nobody could possibly see coming, a backdoor alleyoop for steve pearl with the pass coming from jp.

The best part is that the dunk will be over aldrich.

U can take that to the bank

5-3

Split with Kentucky (Win the home game)
Lose at Florida
Lose to Vanderbilt (Its hard to win there, and we didn't even win here)

I think it all depends on this next week and we will either win both or lose both

Fatigue will be a major concern towards the end of the season. Also concerned about UK's uptempo style. I am concerned we will get tired against UK and then we couldn't keep up. Kansas didn't run like UK does. My prediction is 4-4. Lose against UK x 2, Florida and Vanderbilt. We will make it to the semi's in the SEC and sweet sixteen in the NCAA tournament. Good season overall when all things considered. If the rental car thing would not have happened I would predict 6-2 finish with defeats against UK and Florida away, Finals loss in SEC tournament and elite 8 in the NCAA tournament.

Maybe we need a lot of bribble drive penetration with some kickout to Hopson. Chism will probably outside some to try and draw their bigs away from the basket. If he can hit a few threes someone will have to come out on him. I think we have a good chance to at least split. Hopefully we will have a decent night from beyond the arc.

6-2. Lose to Kentucky the first time and Florida on the road.

So, 24-6 with a 12-4 SEC record. I'd take it.

4-4 Losses to KY twice, Vandy, and Florida.

I'm just not sold yet that UT can't take the game against UK at home. UK seems to maybe be hitting a stride after that SC game, and winning out might be a foregone conclusion. But TBA is a tough place to place, and when you guys actually put it together, its good.

If we can lose at SC, then we can lose at TBA. Of course we could run you out of the gym in the first half. Depends on how these freshman continue to respond to adversity.

We win 5 of the last 8 unless Mississippi State realizes they are a good team. Then it is 4-4 and 3rd in the East. We could probably win 2 games tin the SEC tournament. TIFWIW......
