I mean seriously... we'd be lucky to win any of the next 7... unless Stokes comes out on fire.

It is a good thing Tennessee got Stokes. I do not know how much he is going to help. But I do not think Tennessee wins another game without him.

Complete bull.

This team is easily good enough to beat LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Ole Miss, and South Carolina without Stokes. I'm not saying they win every game I mention, but they can beat those teams.

We play LSU the second to last game of the year, but I don't see us beating them on the road. We play Vandy at home for our last game of the year, but unless we play very well and they play bad, I don't see us beating them either (and especially at their place on Jan 24th). Stokes will have had almost 2 months with the team by the end of the season, but it would take an upset to pull either one of those off.

I say we have a chance against the other ones you mention.

I thought LSU game was at home. That'll be a harder game. We can still beat them, but will be a tough game. They beat Marquette.

We can get Vandy at home, just don't think we will.

I have 7-9/8-8 right now for SEC, with those last two games as toss ups. I'd like to see how Stokes plays against MSU and see where we go from there.

I just want to say, Georgia lost by 25 to Cal this year. They aren't very good.

I just dont get some of these threads...more gloom and doom. Give the kids a break they are learning a new system, and you really thought they should be ready to take on the world after the recruiting they had last 2 years. After loosing the best 2 players on the team early to the draft, and the most recent NCAA probe. Maybe because Basketball has less players involved than Football they will recover faster, but again be patient for the results.

I am just trying to be realistic. No sense in thinking they are going to win games on the road in the SEC. They just are not good enough. The league is week and they might get lucky and win one road game.

I see 4 home wins. Ole Miss, Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina. These are the only games I see where they have a good chance of winning.

I have not seen a whole lot of improvement so far; therefore, I am not expecting to see much the rest of the season. I am not blaming Martin. He does not have good players. Tennessee was going to struggle this year even with Pearl coaching.

Ridiculous...This team can't beat Austin Peay and you think they can beat those teams? :eek:lol: MAYBE S. Carolina...Big maybe....You shouldn't drink so early in the morning.

You are more optimistic than me. I think we go 4-12 or 5-11. 7-9/8-8 would be our high water mark. Maybe we finish somewhere in between at 6-10.

I'll also wait and see where we go after Stokes plays but he isn't going to be a life saver this year. He hasn't played competitively since last July I think Martin said. That is a lot of layoff time. I hope fans don't expect him to come in and save the season.

Well. They can beat Florida. I think they can beat those teams.
