Is there some sort of connection between Houston and Knoxville that I am not aware of? We are in the college football playoffs, about to be ranked number one in the country in basketball, and they’re talking to some dude from Houston about the Texans. Make it make sense.

I was born in Houston and moved to Knoxville, so yes! 😁

It’s one segment out of 12+ hours of coverage for the day. I think it’s okay if they talk about something different for a bit.

Who is the person they are interviewing?
It's John McClain. A NFL football insider from the Houston Chronicle with 20+ years of covering pro football. Very knowledgeable. He talks about all the teams but his conversation today was about the suspension of Al-Shaair and the hit on the Jags QB,among lots of other NFL related stuff

McClain is great content. I always enjoy hearing his insight.

John McClain is the NFL radio version of Adam Schefter.
