I'm sure UTTix will be in here in a hot minute apologizing for being so completely wrong about Wolf.

But I won't hold my breath.

Someone posted that they were sitting in the upper level and could tell that it was an acl by the way the trainers tested his knee. Volnation, the home of doctors and coaches. Who knew?!

Seemed to be a lot of those yesterday that did the medical analysis via Twitter and slow motion TV and decided he was gone for the year. Some profusing to be medical "experts".

In defense of UTTix79, everytime a Vol player is TACKLED he screams OUT FOR THE SEASON and sacrifices an innocent woodland creature sooooo.....?

He's consistent. :ermm:

Believe it was UT_79Tix but I agree with you. He crawled back in his hole. He was one beaming he was in the medical profession and was sure the knee was torn.

He will sit this week in practice, ice baths, and be ready for Norman.... nice little shot to numb things a bit, but won't damage anything further.... then will proceed to ball out in Norman.

Also-- Pearson will ice bath it, rest, rehab, therapeutic ultrasound every day, and will be ready and fired up for Dawgz. Book it.

There is a big difference between being in a "medical profession" and being an actual sports med MD (ortho, nonop sports med specialist).

Most diagnosis are made after an exam and not off a picture

There are some things an MRI is fairly conclusive about. Knee ligaments are one of them.

Edit: realize poster meant photo now

I think that he was talking about the picture of the tackle where Ethan Wolf was hurt not the MRI. A poster here was claiming he could tell that it was an ACL tear just by the angle that Wolf's leg was bent on the hit.
