ESPN does a real service to basketball fans these days: here's a breakdown of Michigan's roster and statistics for the season. Mitch McGary and Nik Staukas stand out. I read another poster say that Michigan doesn't rebound well. One player has gotten 66 boards for the season. Second man not even close.

Stokes and maymon had more than 66 just in the tourney. This might be like the Memphis game when we were second ranked. Let them make the shots from outside and we get the rebound and pound the paint.

They all shoot threes lol. Maymon and Stokes is going to have a field day in the paint. If you look at their defeats, most of them came when they shot in the 30% range. Charlotte, Izzo, Iowa etc..... I really think this defense is far too good to let Michigan go off like that. I don't think they play defense all that well either. Iowa ran them out of the gym because they kept getting stops and pushing the tempo. I don't see that happening because were so effective rebounding on offense and it's just best to grind it out. I could see us flat out smoking Michigan.

Our perimeter defense has been an issue all year, it has gotten better during this recent stretch, but it wasn't all that good yesterday. It will have to be the best it's been all year, or we will have to hope Michigan is simply "off".
