After sleeping on it...it still makes zero sense to do it twice....Understandable if it's a minute left...And if you don't trust your defense why give KY 40 yards...then 24 yards instead of 80 or 70 yards after a punt....

It’s not like Kentucky has an unstoppable offense. Most of their scoring came from defense scoring or setting up a short field. And they were without Rodriguez.
You kick that ball and trust your D to get the ball back from a very average offense.
The problem is UK's schedule. Their two west opponents are Ole Miss and MSU. Hopefully MSU takes care of them. I don't think Ole Miss has the guns this year.
