Thank you for sharing that! I will miss Mickey very much. I don't live in K-town, and have depended on him for many (many!) years to call the LV games for me. My earliest memory of his broadcasts was the Alumni game when Kara Awesome came back to play and helped him call the LV game before the Alumni game. He told her she should go into broadcasting. I'm sure they both knew she was going to do just that, but it was a happy surprise for this fan when his prediction came true. I've enjoyed games with him, his Player-of-the-Game interviews with Lady Vols (both shy and boisterous), his griping at officials, regular games, Senior Night games, tournament games, Final Four games, interviews with the coaches & asst coaches, and the Pat Summitt Post Game shows, where he & Pat took (horrible) questions from the audience. Thank you, Mickey Dearstone, voice of the Lady Vols during their most entertaining years, and may you have a wonderful retirement
