Utah State travelled to Hawaii and won 35-31 in a game that just ended not too long ago


Utah State scored 21 unanswered points (in the mid 3rd through 4th quarters) including a 71 yard pass early in the 4th and a 1 yard run with 14 seconds left to win the game

yeah some close losses, but they're still only a win away from bowl eligibility...wait why do they play a 13 game season?

I think teams are allowed a 13th game if they schedule a non-conference road game at Hawaii. The NCAA must have also decided that Hawaii can play 13 games when they created the incentive to travel to Hawaii for a road game.

They get an extra home game each season with some other revenue deals to help make up for travel expenses.
