Woody Paige---------ESPN

I was just watching the ESPN Around the Horn show. It showed Woody talking, in the background he had a Smokey and a UT football on his shelf. No one else had anything.Also caught the interview on Fox today with lady vol diver.Great Props for the school.

This may sound lame but I actually pull for Woody while I watch Around the Horn and usually turn it if he's kicked off.

On ATH, Paige is either right on the money with great arguments and stats to back it up or completely insane, on another planet. JA Adande is my favorite ATH panelist.

I like Woody the best on there and on 1st and 10, but he's often too slow with his argument.....needs to get to the point.

I like Woody but I can't stand Skip Bayless and that squinty-eyed face he makes when he disagrees with somebody. Kinda reminds me of that face Will Ferrell always made when he impersonated Pres. Bush on SNL.

Thank you. All of my life I've been searching for a reason to dislike Vandy, and you just gave me one. I can't stand Bayless...

Bob Ryan is the only guy on Around the Horn that I don't really care for.

Bob Ryan is alright, sometimes he gets out of hand though.

Mariotti is the guy is dislike the most on ATH. He sensationalizes nearly every subject.

lol... Mariotti grew on me I guess, couldn't stand him at first, but he's pretty funny most of the time.

The guy I really couldn't stand and glad they canned, or maybe he just left, was Max Kellerman. I couldn't watch that show with him... Stat Boy does really well on there. Haven't seen any commercials about it lately, but I'm assuming Kellerman's show on FSN got cancelled, heh...

Woody Paige, a respected and highly opinionated veteran sports columnist, matches wits with the equally respected columnist Skip Bayless every morning live on ESPN2’s national morning show Cold Pizza (M-F, 8-10 AM, ET). Paige and Bayless attack the 10 biggest sports stories of the day in multiple segments beginning with the lead-off segment called “1st and 10.” These segments re-air later in the day on ESPN’s “1st and 10” (M-F, 4-4:30 PM, ET).

A native of Memphis, Paige began is career as a sports columnist in with The Whitehaven Press in 1963 after graduating from the University of Tennessee. He later went on to cover politics for The Knoxville Journal and civil rights for The Memphis Commercial Appeal and The Rocky Mountain News. Paige joined The Denver Post in 1981. Over his thirty-five year career, Paige has covered sporting events in over 22 countries. His resume includes Super Bowls, 12 Summer & Winter Olympics, over 18 World Championship Fights, as well as the World Series and the NBA & Stanley Cup Finals.
