lost some, gained some. I think given the amount of time the staff had to work with, this a good recruiting class and will only continue to get better

I'll say for on the defensive side yea. We look real solid on the DB's and maybe even a slight edge at LB. Been nice to land another DT or DE though.

On offense we look good at WR even though we lost Brown and Thigpen but still solid. getting Teague could be the Ace. The OL, RB looks promising but again another RB and OL would be great to get.

I think a lot of people had their hearts set on Marlon Brown. Kinda the guy they saw as the statement recruit to hang our hat on for this class. Especially after the year's worth of hype he got here. I think that's why so many posters' worlds came crumbling down when he chose UGA over us.

As for me, I think we've had our jewel all along in Jerod Askew. I think this class was excellent for us considering need first and foremost. Aside from DT and maybe OG, we got every position we were looking for. Obviously, guys like Brown and Oku would have been awesome, but they would have been luxuries in the aspect of need. And Tennessee boys don't get upset about losing out on luxuries.

Good point on Askew. I'm pretty pumped about Eric Gordon on the other side. It's just all the hype is about trying to get somebody who hasn't committed yet. Also... gotta add... Teague was the great pickup today--a TN guy who chose to stay home.

It's really a shame. We don't show enough thanks for the guys who committed earlier.
