Anyone watching this stuff? Canada just beat the US 8-6, and was up 8-0 at one point... where's that solid American pitching? It didn't show up today against that murderer's row Canadian lineup, but looked really stout yesterday against the Mexicans...

The Dominican thrashed one of the best pitching staffs yesterday as well... I don't see anyone stopping them...

I thought the WBC would be a waste of time, but watching Dominican Republci take on Venezuela yesterday proved me wrong. This is a truly great event. That game was fantastic from start to finish, and every aspect about it. All they need to do is to figure out a better time slot for this tournament and I think it could be huge.

I really got a kick out of the fans in that game yesterday. Really passionate and whatnot. Flags waving, really into every pitch. I don't care who ya are, any sporting event is more fun to watch on TV when the crowd is really into the game.

Definitley. It was something else to see. I think the Latin Americans are probably the best, classiest sport fans in the world. They are as big as, if not bigger, fans of their sport than any other sport I can think of. And from what I've seen (been to a couple Angels and Dodgers games) they are all very respectful. So, kudos to the Latinos and Latinas.
