Does everything really happen for a reason? I tend to think things happen due to a variety of circumstances: prior actions, preparedness, and even some things by chance. Why do people say things happen for a reason, as if some higher power is controlling our every move?
Which is funny, since I didn't say one word about what was going on in his mind. I said he had little to zero pressure, which is true. No one in their right mind expected him to bring UT back and no one would have gotten down on him had he done poorly. That's the definition of "little pressure'. Surely you understand the difference between starting a game against Alabama than coming in when you're down 5 touchdowns.
Actually, claiming to know how much pressure a person feels in any situation is precisely claiming to know what's going on in their mind.
You don't think he may have been feeling pressure, taking his first snaps in front of 90,000-100,000 people, against the nation's top defense, after Peterman came in and got banged up while giving up several turnovers in his debut against UF?
Really?
don't happen for a reason. Much of life is random.
Maybe so but what can Worley do that Dobbs can't? There would be much more preparation for Dobbs than Worley. Truthfully I don't see how the passing game could get any worse with Dobbs in there. He can just make the throws Worley cant and hasn't been able to after 8 games. If I'm Pinkel I am preparing for Dobbs, jmo
