Worley, Offense Should Feel Confident

Sometimes it is good to play a weaker opponent to test plays, build team chemistry and really to get a feel for your team, and the Vols did that Saturday night.

Confidence Comes Out Of The Austin Peay Game

Worley was a general out there...needs to lead the WRs more on routes....if he can our offense will be fine with Neal and Lane pounding the rock!

God I can not wait to get Paulk and Hurd in the back field. That coupled with Worley and the receivers getting one more year of experience will be nice. OL will be a huge question mark though. On defense we lose some on the trenches and at LB but our secondary will be improved.

Thought Worley managed the game well!! I think Jones wants him to "Not" lose the games. Only thing I saw was that he watched his WR and didn't look off the secondary. A good team will make him pay but think the coaches will work with him on that!! Also, not the most graceful on the QB runs...lol

Worley also needs to stop trying to throw blocks for the running backs. Just hand the ball off and get the heck out of the way. A couple of times I thought he actually got in Neal's way. Hard for me to fault him too much for wanting to jump in help all he can though :)

So you are saying, "I can't wait until next year so I can complain about the OL instead of the running backs." It will be three to four years before we have a chance to be well rounded. I would rather have a good OL. A good running back with no holes is worthless.

It depends on a couple of things, I think.

There are some JUCO guys that, if we pick up, I think greatly improve our OL. I honestly think the interior (G/C/G) will be okay. I'm worried about LT/RT/

Enter Blair and Gennesy. If we land them both, I feel like we'll lose far less ground than if we lose out on both and also lose Tiny to the Draft.

I hear you. Will be better in some areas. In others, maybe not so much. Butch will get it done. It's just gonna take some time (2-3 years).
GO VOLS!
