109.8 in NCAA rating is really not that good. That's a rating of 80.4 in the NFL, which is meh.

However, Worley's job is not to get a good QB rating. His job is to manage the game, not make mistakes, and give this team a chance to win. He did that today. ZERO turnovers for UT, and a win.

Considering he had to change his hold on the ball from the second quarter on along with dancing away from Clowney every pass play - JW did an excellent job. As noted previously no TO's and he hit the game winning pass play. Something Shaw didn't do.

I think he got better after the thumb - maybe they need to lightly tap Worleys thumb with a hammer before each game! Seems to improve his accuracy!

Played well today. Was definitely helped out by some great catches and had some poor throws but he's improving. Good to see

He is getting better. This team is getting better. This is just the beginning foundation of the dynasty Butch is building here.

True...his rating against uga was actually 123...but maybe ~ 110 or better is good enough to beat a quality opponent? And hopefully he can only get better as the season wears on.

Agree that his job is to WIN. Great point.
