Worley vs. Clowney

I remember reading a thread about Worley's high school team coming back against Clowney's team last year, by throwing for something like 5 TDs in the second half. I trust y'all can correct me if I'm wrong.

Looking forward to this matchup, as I trust Worley will be the starter come next week. Something to look forward to, and should be a battle.

Yeah but not to be lost I think his receivers also were highly touted so who knows. I will say Easier to play soon at defensive end than throw your first pass against S. Carolina so I still see Simms getting the start.

Watched the game on TV and you have it right. Worley and his WR's were on fire in the 3rd quarter. Clowney could not get to him despite being a man playing against boys. Right when he would reach to grab Worley, Worley would shrug him off or move laterally and have a clean path to throw the ball. They ended up winning big over Clowney's team. Worley was throwing the ball 50-60 yards and dropping it in the WR's hands without them having to even reach for the ball.

I hope worley digs in at practice this week. Im tired of seeing #12 taking snaps. put anyone besides simms back there. i think ive gotten so angry at him these past two weeks ive lost years off my life. thank god this is his last year

Let me add that I never thought he should have started in 11...not against USCe in his first game without even having taken a snap previously. And further, that we might even have won had he not started. But that's water under the bridge. Let's go Worley! Beat that home state's butt.

One other thing....Jadveon didn't even play last night and has been taking himself out of games. Playing scared, worried about losing his NFL millions. Won't be as effective IMO. :good!:
