This situation tennessee is in right now has the potential to be worse than when kiffin left. why? because of the chance that we won't have a coach in place, recruiting is already suffering this year, current players will go pro and or transfer to other schools. If hart doesn't make an announcement soon this whole thing could haunt tennessee for up to 15 years. Look at 1909,1910,1911. only way it can possibly have any positive is a bowl appearance and win. If we don't win the next 2 games. All the above could very well happen...

I would say it's a little bit better. Not much to be honest. Kiffin left following a season with a couple good SEC wins. All Dooley has done is got the roster back to an acceptable number. People always want to talk about the talent on the roster but I would argue that the same type of 3-4 star kids on there now, were on there then. Same when Fulmer left. People claim the talent was nowhere to be found, but the kids were the same type of 3-4 star guys. Dooley could not coach them, much the same way he can't coach the ones he recruited. IF we lose to Vandy, it could actually be harder to get a big time coach in here. No bowl game this year and it could be a rough 2013 no matter who the coach is. If Bray, Hunter, CP, James, and/or others decide to leave early....it could very well be a worse situation IMO. These have been the worst 3 years in UT football history.

It'll be Chernobyl, Gigli. the 2008 Detroit Lions, the 1988 Baltimore Orioles, the 1982 Cleveland Cavaliers, all rolled into one and coached by Randy Sanders.

Keeping Dooley will be to Vol football as famine is to the continent of Africa.

Yep, The Talent we have after CP,Hunter,Aj is so bad. Everyone bragged on Dooley's Depth he was building and I don't see more than a couple that would play for other SEC teams. Dooley has continued to recruit these 2 and 3 star diamonds in the ruff and never really made up any ground on other teams that at the same time was stocking up on 4 and 5 star players. When You 2 most dominating players are Juco's in the first season on your team it's bad. We need a coach that can evaluate players and recruit.

Yea, we got stability with Dooley and besides, winning is so overrated.

I think Hart may have waited to long to hire a great coach. I do think that we will wind up with a mediocre coach and the program will get bowl games but no NC. Dooley has certainly killed my hopes and dreams for the Vols.

This is as bad as Ive ever seen the coaching at any level. Changes need to be made but as far as the Offense goes you know its bad when you score 48 points and lose. Wow what a turn around from one extreme to another, what did Sunseri say to screw those players up at halftime. The best half that the defense has played in three years as far as Im concerned and he screwed it up. Please Mr. Hart put on your big boy pants and do the right thing and if you are not sure what that is ,FIRE HIS RETARTED NON COACHING ASS AND THAT MORON SUNSERI YOU DIP****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our recruiting sucks right now.

Dave Hart, for the love of God, fire him NOW. Any supposed good this loser has done for the program has been tarnished by officially making our program irrelevant. Nobody under the age of 20 considers us a winning program anymore.

I supported Dooley and almost felt a little bad for him until yesterday. Robert Neyland probably turned over in his grave after that pitiful excuse for a football game.

Rocky Top = Irrelevant.

This is ridiculous. The next coach will struggle, but 15 years is just dumb. We have two QB's with a lot of potential. We signed some really good prospects under CDD. The Offense will probably not be nearly as good as this year, but the cupboard isn't bare.

The D couldn't possibly be any worse than it is right now.

The right coach will turn this around in a few years. The sky is not falling, and it doesn't matter when they announce a change -- it just matters that they hire the right person for the job.
