Where does the foul called on Maze with about 8 minutes to go in the first half rank? Right in front of Pearl, too.

That's the play, but I think it was Maze "involved."

I watched the replay 6 times just so I could soak up the stupidity of the call, and worst part about it was that the ref who made the call could have almost reached out and touched maze.

I text my brother that the call was right up there on the list of worst calls that Ive ever seen.

It honestly looked like the ref knew he made a mistake right after he called it, but he couldn't take it back.

That call isn't even debatable. I think the ref just assumed there had to be a foul.

The disparity in this Vandy - UGA game is embarrassing too.

Remember the one called on Jajuan at Ohio State with under .45 to play. He was two feet from the guy.

I can't decide if that call, or if when Cousins bulled Chism over on the block when Wayne was cemented to the floor, was worse?

Yes, that was the worst call ever. Two players with the same team running together and the ref standing right there and could not see what happened. I think the idiot actually thought someone had to be involved rather than those two just running into each other.

It was worse than pathetic.

Stuck on the tarmac in Dallas, so I missed it, BUT, the SEC and the calls made this year in FB AND Bball have been so bad that I don't know how they haven't suspended the whole lot of them. I trace this directly back to a commissioner who is in WAY over his head. I think the REAL problem is Slive. He has made some of the most stupid decisions, in general, that I have evr witnessed. He HAS to go. I know he's not out there making the calls, but he has created an environment that makes evrything questionable. JMO

Yes, it looked like he just assumed two team mates couldn't have done that.

Really, officials should be able to huddle up, discuss it, and "pick up the flag," so to speak.

I thought the chicken wing against Chism in the LSU game was bad. The Ole Miss call ranks as one of the worst ever. What surprised me the most was the "flop" look on the face of the Ole Miss player trying to sell the foul to the ref.

yes, but not far behind is that blocking call they whistled Prince for in the LSU game when he was just standing in the lane and the guy jumped past him and fell down
