Adam Dunn, 66 hits (only 11 HR ) and 177 strikeouts.

.158 AVG, lowest in 102 years.

Is it the worst season of all-time?

Niefi Perez also had a -2.9 WAR season in 2003 with the Royals. But considering value of contract, I don't think anyone can top Dunn.

So basically a goat could have taken Perez's place in '03 and the team would have been better off.

Obviously goats are an integral part of a baseball team. Ask the cubs, they haven't won since 1908, because they told a goat it wasn't welcome back at Wrigley field

He never deserved his massive contract anyway. Other than hitting homers, what has he ever accomplished?

This could be said about a lot of people.

He sure did suck this year, though. Hard. Glad the nationals didn't extend him.

5 season of 3+ WAR. Since 2003 Never had a wOBA below .380 except '06. Usually had a wRC+ above 130, career .374 OBP.

He doesn't deserve 14 mil a year, but he has been a pretty good player and would have been better if he would've ever committed full time to DH.

Well said.
