Would Catchings Coach at Vandy???

Question of the day. With the hiring of Steph White at Vandy and CP as her associate HC, would you see Catchings joining this staff at Vandy? I'm not sure what allegiance would be stronger, the Lady Vol connection or following a respected coach to a new position and establishing that program?

I think she would be a GREAT hire and a great recruiting tool. But I hope this doesn't happen! I'd hate to have to cheer for Vandy against anyone.

What are y'all's thoughts?

Has Catchings been approached? Since I have heard no report of that, and you are providing no links indicating it, I will suspect you are just another manure stirring troll, either from the small and insignificant Vanderbilt fanbase, or someone with allegiance to another program with too much time on their hands.

Return to your cesspool, and take a big sniff of what you are shoveling.

Since you're obviously not very intelligent let me help you out! This is an example of why community colleges should be free in our country.
Look back to the first 2 sentences. This is obviously an opinion question for the board! A "Yes I agree and explanation" or "No, I disagree with this" was the intent of the post. I never said "I heard a rumor" or "I saw on another board"...this is purely a QUESTION for everyone's opinions on whether or not one would think Catchings would follow her WNBA coach to a new program. I think this is a valid question because I HAVE heard Catch say she wants to stay in the basketball profession in some way when she's done and she respects Coach White very much.
Lastly, I stated that I HOPE THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN. I posted this for the discussion not to stir up anything.

Tamika has been talking for years about becoming a pro g.m., presumably in the WNBA, but maybe she is thinking NBA, who knows? I don't know how you become a g.m., but I guess we'll find out once she retires from the Fever.

I've read more than once that she has no interest in coaching, which is too bad (imo) because she is such a strong leader and great example.

She is also extremely devoted to Pat Summitt and her program, and that makes it hard for me to see her anywhere near Vandy :)

I'd further speculate she will stay in Indy for the near future because of her foundation there.

All good points! I, as well, think it's a shame she does not want to coach. Pat always said she loved what she did because she was teaching young women on and off the court and that's why I think Catch would be really good at coaching collegiality. Also look at Tina Thompson, she said she never wanted to coach at the college level and had to be talked into taking the position at Texas, so it's definitely possible if it came from the right person AND right program.

I don't believe she has an interest in coaching.
