I am soooooooooooooooo sick and tired of hearing him defend Notre Lame and telling us how they are still a very good football team. They suck Lou, deal with it!!!

He's a senile old coot who pulls for ND as the only reason anyone pays attention to him is because of his tenure there.

His "Notre Dame is going to have a hard time making it to a premier bowl game if the lose to Michigan State" talk is nonsensical, they MIGHT beat MSU or Purdue, meaning they start, At Best, 2-6.

I am just tired of Notre Dame, and the media talking about Clausen's 'poise' throwing designed swing passes, and how Charlie Weis is the next coming of Bear Daggone Bryant.

As i recall, we had a Clausen start as a freshman, and not only did he throw a few Touchdown passes, we won a few games on top of it.

Did you hear him rambling and trying to come up with a coherent sentence explaining why he is picking the Cocks over LSU? It was sad.

At least South Carolina winning that game is plausible. There is absolutely no reason to think Notre Dame will win any game in the foreseeable future with the team they are fielding at the moment.

I wondered why ESPN kept him, now I know why. It used to be Lee Corso is a damn idiot. Now it's Lou Holtz. People tune in to see what idiotic thing he will say next. You hate him, but you can't help to watch him spit his biased and nepotic predictions.

With the way ND is playing right now they have NO SHOT at coming close to Purdue. I also don't see them beating MSU.

You might be correct but we'll see. Right Purdue's offense is averaging like 50ppg, given they haven't played much outside of Central Michigan so we shall see.

Still better than what Notre Dame has.

Face it, guys. If Notre Dame is good, ESPN will talk about them. If Notre Dame is bad, ESPN will talk about them. You know the network caters largely to the northeast region of the US, and ND is far and away THE favorite college football program of that area of the country.

If you think Holtz is hard to understand when you can hear him, have you tried to follow along with a muted TV with close captioning on? If nothing else, it's good for a few laughs.
