Would you rather arkansas beat south carolina and give more confidence to the team and have south carolina down and make an upset more likely or south carolina beat arkansas and make the win stronger?

I've thought about this a lot...

We just need a win vs. SC, it doesn't matter their rank. If they drop out of BCS bowl contention, I don't see how that hurts our chances to win.

All you did was make me want a ham and chicken sandwich for breakfast. With Colby-Jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, jalapeno slices, and a mayo-horse radish condiment, all between two thick slices of pumpernickel bread.

Always go with a stronger win. If your team decides how hard they are going to play by the way they perceive their opponent, you're in trouble.

As long as they are ranked in the top 25 that is all that matters to me. While beating them while they stronger is better at this point UT needs a big win to spring board our program.

It counts the same, beating a ranked team isn't going to get us ranked this year so I don't see that it matters.

We need to concentrate on taking care of our business first, the worry about others.

Win and all other aspects of the game will be taken care of.

I hope they come in here on there high horse. I can't wait to see spurriers visor thrown all over the sidelines with his hair all jacked up.

While I get what you're saying you need to understand the difference in perception.

When UT beat South Carolina in 2009 it was seen as a bit of a triumph. However, that USC team finished 7-6 and unranked. That doesn't really help with perception as UT finished 7-6 and unranked.

Beating a 1-loss (at the time of the game) USC team that probably finishes with at least 4 losses (given a loss to UT, Clemson and Florida) will only hurt UT's perception if they finish 6-6.

However, all that matters is that they're ranked at the time of the game. That would change this huge skid of losing games against ranked teams so commentators could shut up about that.

Prefer a physically draining USC win. Don't want to catch a Spurrier coached team angry, especially given his record against UT. Maybe all the USC players will get hammered the night before the game. Can't spell "sauced" without USC.
