Now that changes are on the way I want us to definitely win out. I could not say the same thing before RS resigned.

What I really want is for one Qb to start and play for the rest of the season, I want Rb's that don't fumble on the 1 friggin yrd line, I want Wr's that catch friggin balls that hit them in the hands, I want the kicking teams to play at least as ggo d as they did against SC, I want to knock off all the "let's break the huddle with less than 15 seconds on the play clock and then spend 13 seconds trying to audible and nobody really knows what friggin play we're running" crap. past that I'm to a point that I don't care about win, or losses or bowl games, I'm tired of looking like a middle school offense!

To answer the poll question, I'm leaning towards option number two.

Not a complete blowup, but let Ainge start and play all of the remainings games. If they win-out or at least start playing better, great. If they still struggle, at least Ainge got some experience. It's not like Clausen is prepping to be drafted in the first round...

With four games left and all that is on the line is a possible bowl game in Nashville (big deal) start Ainge and keep him in the whole game. We won't beat ND, but maybe we could improve enough to be Vandy, Memphis and Kentucky.

I hope we at least get to go to a bowl. Even though we have been painful to watch, I still love to watch them play.

Even if this year is crap, this effects us all-time in bowls. I think we are #2 in appearances and #3 in wins?

After the letdown this season has been going to a bowl this year will be like taking your sister to the prom, yeah you get to dance, but it's your sister.

don't get me wrong I will cheer my butt off with all our remaining games and at a bowl game if we make it but it will be very unsatisfying, like craving a steak for dinner only to find out the wife made sloppy joes, I like sloppy joes but Steak come on!

Well I think there was some positive light in that if we lost more this season, it would force some change in the coaching staff. But now that process is under way, win baby win.

The fool in me can only imagine how great it would be for Ainge and our receivers to come out at ND and have a huge day and beat them soundly.

The realist in me hopes that we don't get embarrassed.

I have always said "its not worth winning if you cant win big"

i say no bowl game, its better if we have a comeback from the basement next seasion.

Of course I'd like UT to go to a bowl game but right now if it meant getting us out of this funk I really would not care just as long as we can get back on top. A lot of people don't remember the 60's and 70's or even the early 80's around Knoxville. In those years we didn't field a very good football team. They would have to play their butts off just to go 6-5 or 7-4 year after year. We have the talent at UT it is there every year what we need is someone that can control the talent and put it to use on the football field. GO VOLS

You guys really feed off other peoples misery. You got what you wanted in RS resigning in midseason. He could have been fired and they would have obligated to pay him his entire contract. To me that is integrity.
Now you want them to play worst so more changes be made? Come on people. that is just a sick attitude to have. If we were 0-6 like in 1988 you d rather us lose out to go to 0-11 to have changes made. Instead they win out the last 5 and win the next 2 SEC championships in 89 and 90.
If we win out this will be momentum going into next season and for recruiting. We are in a slump now that will be overcame. I will pull for the vols and hope to god they win out and finish 8-4 with a bowl victory. To win 8 games through this adversity is a success in my book.

To hell with all you sick people who just want us to lose out so you have a reason to play arm chair qb.
