Would you take season tickets in basketball & baseball over football? So 2 or 1 ?

Assume we still winning like we are in all 3

I would take the football tpickets. Regular season basketball games are like preseason games for the tournament. Fun to watch but if you lose some it doesn’T mean much except for some seeding spots. Regular season football games have more of a playoff feel to them. You lose 1 or 2 and you are very likely out of the playoffs.
If basketball just took the top 16 based on the regular season (no conference tourneys), then my answer would probably be different.
Like MLB, NBA, etc., the more teams in the playoffs, the less interest I have in the regular season games.

Nope, as another poster said….much easier to make 7 or 8 trips total to Ktown than 3 or 4 per week. Almost a five hour drive for me.
EDIT; Plus….People will be telling their grandkids about being at last year’s Tennessee Bama game. These things become multi generational legends. No offense to the Basketball or Baseball squads; but there are very few individual games that become ingrained in the lore of the state. Football is a spectacle in a way that no other American sport can ever hope to match

Baseball tix are harder to get. I can drive 30 minutes to UT and be guaranteed FB tickets on the street. Plus, the games you may miss on BB and BB you sell and make enough $$ to buy FB tix.

Actually, I don't drive to FB games. $10 bus from Foothills mall in Maryville.

In a vacuum -- so that is, in a scenario where I cannot get any other tickets -- probably not. There is no place on Earth like a sunny afternoon in Neyland 30 minutes before kickoff.

In the real world, absolutely. I can take the money I save from BB & BB and use them to buy premium seating for specific games. Take this year, for example. There's only three home games of note - Scarolina, Bobby P's Fightin' Aggies, and the Shiny Britches Boys. Easy to forgo the unnecessaries and just go to those three games. Sorry Austin Peay, UTSA, and UConn. Well, actually, I may enjoy going to UConn, I hate them damn yankees so having a beer and seein' 'em get perforated will be alright, but otherwise, SORRY BOYS, got bigger games to go to.

No..Because of being able load up and plan for full scale tailgate for the home games

As much as I want our other sports to win, not a chance. I hate the sport of baseball (it’s like watching paint dry) even though we are good, and basketball is fun, but I would never be able to go to all the games. Living so far away would make it easier to pick and choose football games I could attend and would be easier to sell for the games I couldn’t.

Nope. I live for tailgates. Tailgate before and after the games and just wait on traffic to clear out. We tailgated till about 1am after we beat Bama last year. You can’t beat that.
