Tobias Harris for Selby? It has nothing to do with the Florida game i just wanted to make a thread that was not like the 100 others tonight.

Secondly, if we had Selby instead, with no early season suspension, how would we be doing right now?

I would say no.... I also think Selby is more of a (1yr or 2yr & done) type player. I think over time Tobias could become a stud for UT. He's a freshman. Gonna have his ups & downs. Just gotta take his lumps & continue to improve.

It's still hard for me to believe that we had Selby and Craft as verbal commits...

What has Selby done that's so remarkable other than get injured and his team play better without him? I'd prefer Craft before Selby. Our PG play sucks right now and Goins isn't getting any better.

I know one thing. i wouldn't trade Tobias foe Enes Kanter. The Wildcats not getting anything from that chump.

We could be better next year with just getting Jones and Ware. I assume we would go back to the press. Jones is a pure shooter and passer while Ware is the type of guard who drives to the rim. I dont how good his free throw shooting is. It will be like Pearl's first few years no height but creating 15+ turnovers.

And i think that's what Pearl was counting on for this season. And Selby and Craft went elsewhere. Woulblems.d have taken care of our pro

Nope. I wouldn't do it.

Only way I would consider it if Maymon proved he is worth starting at the 4.

Although he may get marginally better numbers, if we had Selby right now, he would be struggling with Assists just like Goins and Golden.

Tenn's offense is not conducive to creating assists. 4 guys standing still while the PG dribbles is not going to help any team win.

I Would not trade Tobias. I think he is a guy you can build a program around, who has talent and wont leave after 2 years. Kid seems to have a good head on his shoulders.

Also, I think Chris Jones will be a great addition next year and will take over the pg, kid reminds me of Jacob Pullen from K-state

The thought of Jeronne Maymon starting scares me, but Kenny Hall would probalby be playing some 4.

The only thing that will keep Tobias here is the fact that this team is underachieving by epic amounts.. If we were leading the SEC-E.. he'd be gone next year.
