If the volnation could vote on one game from the 2013 schedule and John ward would do the announcing?..just saying..

Bama or Florida...but they are both on the road. I would have to go with UGA or USCe just because I want him to say "It's Football time in TN"

During homecoming week we have the alumni band and cheerleaders participate in the festivities. I have always thought that would be a great time to do this.

He happened to be the one that followed John Ward.

He gets a few situations confused...but it's a hard job keeping track of everything and relying on spotters, etc.

To start with, if your name isn't Smith or Jones (at least he won't get coaches name wrong) or Robert or Bill, he doesn't have a clue how to pronounce it. Frequently forgets who we are playing, doesn't know the score or the time remaining. Other than that, he is fine. :crazy:

Honestly he doesn't bother me at all and doesn't do that bad of a job. No, he isn't John Ward but I think he put admirable effort and passion into what he is doing

No thanks on Keith. Can't stand all the gratuitous screaming and Ward wannabe phrases during Titans games. Fact is, you can't put anybody in the booth that even remotely touches Wards brilliance.

Honestly, he's just not John Ward... doesn't paint the picture of what's happening. With Ward, if UT broke a big play you felt like you were right there watching, almost running with guy who had the ball. With Kesling it's like "give the ball to Neal at the 40, he has the ball... Checkerboards!" I'm left wondering wth just happened.

He`s not John Ward. But who is?
The only person to replace John Ward and make everyone happy would be John Ward.

But in my opinion Kesling is not that bad. I have heard worse.

I don't think Kesling is bad at what he does. He's a solid broadcaster. No one is going to replace John Ward. But, he didn't get the job because he was the best play by play guy they could find, either. He got the job because he was already here and well connected. Sort of like Randy Sanders or Mike Hamilton.
