To lose that game for us. Is it me or does Prince's good plays come every 4-5 bad plays? He is such a liability on SOOOO many levels. I'm exaggerating, but it seems like he makes the worst decisions at the most inopportune times.

Examples (from the 2nd half only...)
w
Why did he try to get the ball when it was going out of bounds and clearly was UT's ball?

With 1:30 left and 19 seconds on the shot clock he drives in and jacks a shot up with THREE defenders around him!

With 4:59 to go and 28 seconds on the SC he drives in and forces a 8 foot running jumper that is WELL defended and of course misses and it AL gets the rebound. 28 SECONDS ON THE SC!!!

THEN not a second later he FOULS the rebounder on a silly frustration foul and the AL proceeds to make two free throws.

Start of the second half he throws it to our invisible teammate for a TO.

Thankfully we won because AL was HORRIBLE! Rant over.

Yeah the 1 foul he committed the whole game really cost us. Don't worry about the 7 rebounds and defense he played.

Prince does make some good defensive plays every now and then, but he makes enough bone headed plays on offense to possibly get us beat...when we play the better teams in the SEC he will get us beat if he does not quit making dumb decisions with the ball

He leads the team with steals and has as many apg. as Bobby Maze. He may do boneheaded things, but I think he helps the team more than he hurts it, easily.

I disagree, it's at best a wash. And that's what you want from you senior 3 guard.... He WILL lose us a game if not gameS this year. You watch. I cringe when he has the ball in transition and when he makes a jumper.... Because that means he'll take (and miss) a couple more.

Look, he is what he is. A great athlete at 6'7 with a long wingspan. He is a homerun/strikeout basketball player (to borrow a baseball analogy). He works hard to get a steal or a blocked shot on defense. But his effort off the ball is mediocre. On offense he has adequate ball handling for a guy his size and can finish in the lane. He tries too hard sometimes to be the guy that makes 'the play' instead of just making the fundamental pass to the open guy and let the next guy make the play that is there. Forces things quite a bit. But he has no ability to score from outside of 5ft. from the basket. You can tell he is concentrating on driving right (because every coach has his scouting report to not let him go left) but the problem is that even when he drives right he has to turn back across his shoulder and still shoot the ball with his left hand. He costs himself a ton of points by having (literally) no right hand whatsoever.

I don't get this. The guy is rough, but e has made a difference of late. His wingspan is deadly.

That's ridiculous. Prince nearly had a triple double against Ole Miss. He has really stepped up as of late. He helps this team MUCH more than he hurts it.

His ability to take the ball to the baket off the dribble can open up things for other players. I have been somewhat pleased with him lately.

I'm pretty sure that foul after the rebound he committed was when he was trying to tie the ball up when the ball handler kept flashing it in front of him. I see nothing at all wrong with that. I think he's playing a lot better than he was.
