I'he lived in Memphis my whole entire life. Doesn't surprise me this city sucks and has zero class. Two years in a row tiger high makes this city look like trash. Cant stand an assclown.

Memphis is an armpit, I'm sure if you tried you could name something good to say, but why try?

My daughter in law is from Memphis and says she loves the place even though she likes living in Nashville. She drags my son and grandsons down there about once a month. My wife and son both went to school at UT Memphis and both hate the city. I feel dirty every time I enter the city limits. Went to a restaurant with my son when he first went down there and pulled into a parking garage and a woman was chasing a man with a baseball bat trying to beat he hell out of him. Went down for my sons graduation and went out to dinner at a nice restaurant and a fight broke out at the table across the aisle from us. I'm glad some folks like it but I wouldn't mind if it floated off down the Miss. River

Memphis has improved from last year. This year it was just one player taking a cheap shot and running off. Last year the whole team was involved in a fight with BYU in which there were many blind side punches and cheap shots taken by Memphis players.

There are some good things about Memphis (can't think of any right off hand) but I have never seen an entire city have such an inferiority complex.

If he would have put that kind of effort on the field during the game, maybe the score would have been closer.

Should nail him for assault as well.

I was working in Memphis a few years back, and there was 2 gang related murders one day that was just a couple of blocks from where we working. Let's just say that me and a few of my Co workers had our HCP on us when we would go out in the evenings. But don't get me wrong, it's not all bad, I met some really nice people down there, and the BBq was awesome! Lol

Real harsh there, Memphis. Kick a senior (who just played his last game) off the team. I agree that he should have an assault charge. That would be more consequential, and tackling and punching Auburn's staff member like that definitely deserves such charges.

Didn't Boykin get charged with felony assault?

I live in Bartlett, if you stay on the outskirts of Memphis you are good.

There are quite a few good areas in the city, although they're generally clustered around Poplar. I wouldn't be caught dead in many neighborhoods, but it isn't difficult to figure out what those are once you've lived here for a while.

Despite what the people on here say, Memphis' worst years are behind it. There's a lot going on these days.
