WR Drops

Does anyone know if they have repercussions for drops during practice? Maybe pushups, extra cardio? Didn't read this whole thread so I may have missed it

Josh Smith is the worst of everyone when it comes to dropped passes. Idk what's wrong with him. I can tell he also doesn't like physical play. I mean he will have the ball in his hand and as soon as someone touches him he drops it.

Josh Smith is a freshman adjusting to SEC football. Let's not tear the young man down just yet. More crow is served here than needs to be. Good thing is he is getting open right now. Once he adjusts to the speed of the game he will be fine.

North has had some big drops, it is going to happen early in your career. So much goes on, its easy to lose focus when that ball is coming in. You gain that focus with repetition and experience.

easy fix throw bricks at them. they drop those it's going to hurt. plus butch has tons of bricks laying around. and for missed assignments and tackles and blocks on defense he could knock down a tower of bricks and make the players that perform poorly or unmotivated in practice stay afterwards and stack them back up.

Maybe they can catch wrenches too?

They would look better but on the flipside how many unreal catch's has North had on his own to bail out Worley. Croom and PigI have bailed him out of god awful passes too. It evens out for the most part but dropped passes have been a real issue. And for Bowles, Harris and Carter to still not be able to get many reps it says alot about their development. I can see why the Coach's are hitting WR hard this class. Plus Jenkins will be back from his injury next season.

All of these receivers have dropped passes, including North. Worley has had to work with dropped passes and poor route running with young receivers early on who are improving as the season progresses.

When Worley completes a pass you scream that the receiver "bailed him out". Worley has greatly improved and made some very good throws and some unexpected good plays with his feet. IMO, he should have been benched when he reinjured his thumb. I just hope Dobbs starts the game and doesn't get hurt.

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.
