My only issue with this coaching staff is that they let our wide receiver position become weak. Watching the Vols this season, the dropped passes are what stands out. Imagine Joes stats if there werent so many dropped balls and our defense was on the field that much less.

Thats all I’ve got to say. No one needs to be fired. Refs have been horrible. Next season has a chance to be great.

I feel like this is concern #57757738282 with our program. We had two NFL draft picks at WR last year, one of whom won the award for the best WR in America. This year our #1 receiver got hurt, and we had another hurt today. We have a 5 star coming in. My worries with the program have nothing to do with the WR position

It’s a down year and we are gonna end up 8-4 in the regular season. That was an aspirational record for most of the last 15 years….We aren’t UGA or Bama and we don’t have Kirby or Saban. Our build will come slower, we will spend fewer consecutive seasons on top, and we will suffer valleys after our peaks.

Oh I agree. I can see how my comment looks like I am really worried about the program as a whole but thats not what I meant.

I have plenty issues with this coaching staff! They cannot coach! You have to prepare your players, especially on road games! We think we can run over everybody, but our 3 loses came on the road with the home teams running all over us! It doesn't matter if it is 3rd & 20 our defense cannot stop nothing! When our running game is stopped, we just still run, run, run the ball or throw those sorry azz bubble screens! Or it is third and long & all of our wr's routes are several yds in front of the 1st down marker! They kicked our OL lines azz, they kicked our Dl lines ass! Heupel, you have to develop a mean streak!

If we scored more than 7 I might agree, but offense is clearly the issue and I saw a lot of dropped passes today.
