WR recruiting

After injuries to Rogers and Moore I started looking up the WR depth chart...man we need help at this position badly

Hancock SR - gone after this year
Jones JR
Moore JR
Rogers SR - will be back with 6th year
Warren - JR
Campbell - Sophmore..never played a snap at WR

bringing in
Green - hopefully...please get in kid..we need you
Richardson - will play from day one
Teague - some say is a better DB prospect
Rogers - forgot about him...could get WR look...heard he was going to be a DB though

I think TN needs to bring in about 4-5 WR's in this class

Teams typically like a 5 man rotation

The goal at WR is to bring in 2-3 each class. When you start bringing in more than that, it crowds the depth chart. I would say we take 3 this class with a 4th being a possibility depending on who wants to commit.

This is why a Milton commit is big. I see us getting about 3 WR this year. Solid ones too.

Makes you wonder why Ahmad Paige had to be so scared of competition...with the injuries he would be in line for a starting spot for WKU

I say by looking at that WR list....we were about 8th in sec to begin with and then the loss of moore and rogers only makes matters worse

We need a talent overhaul at WR position very badly

Prater/Milton/Ambles could change my outlook though

:ermm: Paige was supposed to be my breakout player for the 2008 season. I would have been fine if he had become that this year instead.

This situation, of course, puts more pressure on a great QB commit. Scroggins could influence OL's and WR's to sign. It's that simple.

I dont know that Randy Moss could of had a breakout season with our Qb play last year

we get milton and have very good chnces at ambles and cobbs... ambles to me is a lock if we get JS.. and cobbs is ours if we have an 8 win season and JS would help with him also.. prater will also turn around i think if we get JS.. geez JS would have such a BIGGG impact.. i want him ssoooooooo bad, well so does everyone else haha

He didn't want to play WR, which is why he chose Tennessee over Notre Dame. He could, however, get a look there if he's needed.
