I miss seeing Hyatt running downfield 20 yards from anybody several times a game. Obviously Georgia showed the rest of Tennessee’s opponents how to stop that by getting safeties to not bite underneath. It’s going to be interesting to see if Heupel keeps developing new disguises or just keeps forcing things that defenses are able to stop. Point being, take Kiffin for example. Sure he was hot at Alabama (5 stars to work with) but his RPO success is not as successful as it was but he’s still so sought after. Watching the games he’s dropped lately, I just don’t see why people think he’s so great. I just hope Heupel stays innovative.

Georgia stopped the run with the front, and separately played their pass coverage deep to short. With their imposing defense, it worked. This offense has to run well enough to force teams out of a two safety shell. Then we can throw it like we did on Bama, who tried to play both the run and the pass in a combo-type coverage. We shredded it because they were trying to be in two places @ once, and ended up being in neither. Georgia watched Alabama's mistakes + misteps and did not repeat them.

I don't think it's necessarily a matter of Georgia showing the "secret sauce". If we can't run the ball effectively, we're not going to see wide open go routes.

Not a Kiffin fan, but calling plays with Alabama talent is entirely different than calling plays with Ole Miss talent.

The “Georgia blueprint” for beating us theory has always been absurd and unfounded. The blueprint Georgia laid out was having the best defense in the country.

Kiffin isn’t less successful because “people figured him out” this season. But rather because he has lesser talent on offense this season.

Talent matters certainly. Georgia was bigger and stronger and we have to match that as well. They still have plenty of talent there and more coming in...

I'm confident he will.
He showed he could be multiple with the use of Fant. He really did get the most out of him this season. The guy has accounted for 8 TDs haha.

Now, we need to see some Wildcat. Holliday doesn't seem to have an attitude problem like Calloway does and yet we had no wrinkles for him.

Just leaving a 4.3 runner to fair catch kickoffs.
Jimmy Holiday could have legitimately been a nice change of pace for us this season.

BUT ...but but but...offense was never even close to the problem this year.

Tim Banks is the worst DC in the SEC.
Amateur hour is well past over. He needs to be gone in February.

We haven’t had wide open receivers like that since.
Do you really think it's a secret squirrel move to not have safeties bite underneath?

It all depends on the running game. It's as simple as that.

And fwiw, we had several big plays during the Missouri game. Squirrel White caught 2 for 64. Ramel Keaton 2 for 60. Hyatt 7 for 146.

Honestly Kiffin doesn't have a qb. Dart sucks

Being successful in the run game will force safeties to bite up. Also have to hit the underneath routes accurately and catch them.

For whatever reason Hyatt has not been running as many deep routes as he was when Tillman was out. Tillman had I know two, that if Hyatt had been running would have probablly been a td. Tillman is very good but Hyatt is better on the deep routes.

H3ll Pruitt looked like a genius at UGA , Bama & FSU loaded with 5 stars the Jimmy & Joes can do it with little guidance if their just way better.

I agree about Holiday, I would like to see him used in some capacity, he has very good speed.
