Back then there were different rules. And if you look at the per recruit average, we were barely in the top 10. The per recruit averages would have looked like this:

7. AU- 90.16
8. LSU- 89.91
9. UGA- 89.71
10. TN- 89.48

Yep. One would assume he would start alongside Smith next year as well. Offer Smith whatever he wants to come here. That dude is a 1 overall draft pick when he goes pro. Make them overpay to keep him.

A lot of his guys went and stayed in the NFL though. Not sure how many from that class

Lots of busts but also a handful of guys who are still in the NFL, including Kamara. In all honesty, despite the busts it may be one of the best classes for producing long-term NFL talent that we’ve had in a while.
