'25 WR Zachariah Branch (Georgia commitšŸ¤®)

If its because we had 34 commits, I was under the impression that only the top 25 recruits counted. If im wrong I stand corrected.
Back then there were different rules. And if you look at the per recruit average, we were barely in the top 10. The per recruit averages would have looked like this:

1. Bama- 93.73
2. FSU- 92.54
3. USC- 92.28
4. UCLA- 91.63
5. ND- 90.45
6. OSU- 90.31
7. AU- 90.16
8. LSU- 89.91
9. UGA- 89.71
10. TN- 89.48

Butchs ā€œtop 5 classā€ was fraudulent.

...and then on top of that, many of those 34 guys were WAY overrated and ended up being busts.

My guy tells me branch is a no go and that an Ohio state kid has already reached out. I assume itā€™s Carnell Tate.
Not sure what incentive Tate would have to jump ship when heā€™s playing for the best WR coach in the country and starting. If he did, Iā€™d have to imagine heā€™d consider us though.

Yep. One would assume he would start alongside Smith next year as well. Offer Smith whatever he wants to come here. That dude is a 1 overall draft pick when he goes pro. Make them overpay to keep him.

I donā€™t recall an instance of them losing a starter. Heā€™s getting plenty of snaps and opportunity to produce.

Fleming just left last year. Players leave all teams. Winning teams. Losing teams. Teams with great coaches. Teams with terrible coaches. Teams that are playing them. Teams that arenā€™t.

A lot of his guys went and stayed in the NFL though. Not sure how many from that class

Lots of busts but also a handful of guys who are still in the NFL, including Kamara. In all honesty, despite the busts it may be one of the best classes for producing long-term NFL talent that weā€™ve had in a while.
