I’ve always been a quasi wrestling fan, but as of late I’ve enjoyed the escape WWE gives from real world events. That said, I’m looking for a wresting podcast that gives good analysis and some inside scoops, but isn’t part of the brand (ie biased and withholding information to “prolong” the stories). Do any fans out there have some recommendations?

Also, mods, I didn’t see a wresting forum anywhere, so feel free to move this if I overlooked it.

I listen to Jim Cornette's Podcasts, he does 2 a week. The Jim Cornette Experience and The Drive Thru. Both are basically the same podcast only him and Brian Last his cohost switch who the "host" is . They go over Raw, Smackdown, and PPVs, and then go over AEW and their shows. They don't really cover NXT or TNA though they randomly do cover those shows like they did a TNA show last week. He also has some really great stories about past wrestling, especially the Southern wrestling scene.

I don't listen to this, but I listen to a lot of Ringer podcasts and like their productions. I've listened to some of these hosts as guests on other pods and topics, and they're cool. Sometimes the wrestling world is doing something so big that they're asked onto the mainstream sports pods to explain what's going on, and I've enjoyed that commentary.

Stevie Richards actually has a good podcast going. I like listening to it when I get the chance. He covers a lot of interesting topics.

Going in Raw is a fun pod hosted by 2 pretty normal/nerdy dudes. They were on-air talent w/ Machinima before their big shut down. They cover everything from recaps to reviews to top 10s to booking. No spoilers.

If you're wanting interviews with actual workers, Chris Van Vliet is far and away the best. Maybe also check out Stone Cold's back log, though they are not the easiest listen.
