Ringgold High School, my old school, just won their third state AAAA traditional championship in a row, sixth overall. They should have won their 2nd straight Duals championship but their best wrestler had to have an emergency appendectomy the day before the tourney. They lost by 2 points on a very questionable call. They had three seniors win state titles. A two time, a three time, and the kid that had the emergency appendectomy came back two weeks after his surgery and won his 4th title over a kid that hadn't been scored on in the state tourney. He is only the 13th in Georgia history to win 4. Oh yeah, during the regular season they beat Baylor which won the Tennessee state championship. GO Tigers! :clapping:

when I was still coaching in TN (3 yrs ago), I LOVED watching RHS's team and style, and HATED facing them with anyone but my best kids. Broom definitely does it right down there, and will face any team, any time. Keep track of the Keefe Brothers at UTC, they're making waves in Division I!!!!!

Actually Phil Daniel has taken over and Billy has moved to start a program at Gordon Lee Middle but you are correct, the style is the same and they do get after it.

what do you guys think of my High Schools wrestling team? i go to Clarksville High school, i think they are one of the best in the state.

I saw where Clarkville finished the final poll ranked 10th and that included all classes so that's good.

I have dealt a lot with CHS, and respect Jeff Jordan tremendously. His success is a BIG reason that I'm organizing a Year-Round Weightlifting program for my team to get Stronger for future years.
