I am watching the game now on my DVR, so I shouldn't have checked on here....LOL Anyway, the announcer says, "Leach's last two starters are now starters in the NFL." But hey, what does the NFL know? right?

I'm not saying that should be the sole purpose in hiring the next coach, but it should be a factor. All of those that have come and gone since Fulmers resignation have been failures and none of them have had any specific ties to the university.

I was living in TX and watched Leach and Texas Tech beat UT Shorthorns. I was converted then and have never waivered.

Whats that have to do with winning at a high level? How many Championships has he got again? Butch had us ranked a couple of times as well.

His offense would never work in the SEC. There's actually defense over here.

So you like Mike Leach, huh...…. 3 weeks ago I said that Dorian Thompson-Robinson was a 5star quarterback who got eaten alive by Cincinnati (8-26) in their first game. Well, UCLA's not very good but they gained over 500 yds passing on that wonderful 21st ranked team in the country. Funny, intelligent man who is a very good offensive mind but can't coach a lick of defense, and doesn't seem to know how to hire a good defensive co-ordinator. Doesn't have a good all around record because of it. Great offensive minds are a dime a dozen, but aah, defense wins games.....Is that who you want???

I didn’t see the game. Read the comments and clicked on YouTube for the highlights. First thing I hear is that hack Beth Mowins. She can ruin a good game!

Something tells me the wistfulness over Leach will die down here just a bit. They just blew a 32 point 2nd half lead at home to an awful team. Ouch.

I completely disagree. The cupboard has never been more bare than it was after Butch. It’s unheard of for this program to have zero players drafted two out of three years.

I’m going to assume he meant the teams on his schedule. If he thinks he can beat Alabama or Clemson with 2 star recruits, he’s certifiably insane.

WSU in the Pac 12 is the equivalent of Vandy or Kentucky in the SEC. The man was PAC12 coach of the year and national coach of the year for what he accomplished last year. I guess the voters are all idiots since WSU didn't win the PAC12.

Swap UT players for WSU players but keep the coaching and culture the same and we may not beat UT Chatt.
