Me 2 (and i'm a jr. fan too)Rick Hendrick is no fool let him keep imploding and he's gonna be lucky if he has a ride at all ,he can run that pie hole all he wants but he blew it yesterday

it was just sad to be honest. missing the pitbox, pitting on the line, the wreck. i do think vickers was just as much at fault as jr., but it looked pretty bad.

If his name was Dale Simmons he would maybe have a ride in Arca or small town dirt tracker. There is no way he is top 10 talent in nascar its just his name.

I'll admit im only a Jr. fan because of his dad, but im a loyal fan. aside from the pit disaster last night im glad he finally showed he had a pair and didnt let vickers run him off in the grass like he would have in years past. as for pulling for smoke, you guys have fun, that guy is the biggest cry baby in the world. The Urban Meyer of NASCAR.

After reading his comments, I gather that both were at fault but Dale Jr. looks childish and immature when he made his threat to Vickers. It makes for good tv though and lets face it, he keeps his name in the mix regardless of his recent lack of success.

They're both big boys and pros at their job. The booth used it to stir the pot, which is how it's supposed to be played. For my part, Jr. and Vickers share the blame. It's a 200 mph parking lot and the least little move is gonna make a mess. It was reversed last season. I'm just glad neither won.

Im also a jr fan but i dont think he "showed he had a pair" by wrecking vickers.. he could have showed he had some sense and let off the gas for a half second, fell back in line, and passed him the right way.. dale jrs suppose to be a top 3 superspeedway driver, vickers is not.. i know the rain was comin and they were all pushing, but jr acted like an ass yesterday.. wrecking half the field, missing his pit twice, and bitching about a rule change lowered my respect for jr a bit.. he better win a few this year or the pressures really gonna be on him, even worse than it has been

I CALL BS

He may not be the best but where did he finish in the chase last year(hint , it was was not arca ) and he'll be there again this year. did he make some mistakes and have a bad day ? yeah . He's still one of the top 10 drivers in the series . Is he Sr. NO!!! Dont expect him to be either . There's alot more parity in Nascar than just 10 years ago .:banghead2:

the guy has won races so i'm not sure if it's completely fair to write him off altogether. however, his name has carried him further than a no namer with talent equal to his.

i am not sure i am ready to jump ship, but it was frustrating to say the least to watch him screw up on the pit deal like he did. that is a rookie mistake that put him a lap down and in the position with vickers. i'm trying to ride it out. a few more boneheaded moves like that may knock me outta the boat tho...

Well I still blame jr for everything that happened sun, but let me take the time to put some blame on eury, the worst crew chief in nascar. If eury would have called off the pit stop and had the car repositioned, jr would have stayed on the lead lap. The official was pointing as soon as he pulled in, there was time to call it off. Eury should know the rules. Ppl talk about jr bein where he is bc of his name, eury benefits off the earnhardt name more than anyone considering how bad he is. I can always find a way to blame eury!

wrong, if he was mid level he wldn't be a consistent top 10 driver. shldn't you be in class?

since 2000, he's run 9 full seasons with this being his 10th year.

in that time, he's only finished in the top 10 four times (01, 03, 04, 06). that's hardly consistent.

take out '07, that was a disaster. what i'm saying is he can drive, he's an above avg. driver, but not elite
