WVU just got the pants beat off them by Utah.

HeyHey if you think that assures us a victory next year then slow your roll. They were missing their starting QB who will be returning next year, our ex Florida QB nightmare Will Grier.

Can you imagine what it's going to be like the week before this game? I am excited to see the new attitude that I think CJP will instill.

Not to mention the countless players we lost to injury.

WVU also had good players out due to injury, aside from Grier. People who think this is a guaranteed win because WVU is not a big bad SEC team have no clue. Tennessee will not win this game kicking field goals.

Grier will be a Heisman favorite next year

I just looked he threw for 3500 yds along with 34 TDs and 12 INTs

It’s gonna take 40-50 points to beat WVU which will be tough in a opener for anybody let alone a brand new head coach

Would be a very impressive win tho if Pruitt could pull it off

Ball control run, run, run, mash 'em. Keep ball out if Grier's hands. Typical Big12 team...all O no D. That said, still need 30 to beat them.

30? That all? Psshhh...Vols score 40 easy.

Paul Bain will return the 1st or 2nd half kickoff for a touchdown; throw 3 touchdown passes and catch 2 of them; throw John Kelly for a 17 yard TD run; throw Ty Chandler for a 59 yard TD; then kick field goals of 64, 79, and 82 yards; oh, and score a safety when Will Grier runs backwards 40 yards and refuses to come out of the end zone because Bain is standing there waiting on him.

That's, what, 53 points right there.

Go Vols.
