Not to question the validity of a youtube video, but does anyone else notice they never show the bear actually alive in the tree? Note they do not show the bear until it is falling from the fork in the tree? I would wager that the bear was killed well before this video was staged. Someone stood up in that tree and dropped the bear when the shot went off. JMO

Possibly, but it's also pretty hard to carry a 100lb bear 40 ft into a tree if that's the case.

Those guys do that every year.
Its a tradition. Its legal.
I just hope the gun isn't loaded with anything more that powder during games.

People just don't think that its not P.C. to hunt anything.

I hope it was a Mississippi Black Bear.

I stand corrected.
He was cited because he didn't have on his Bright Orange Vest when he shot the bear.

I always knew it paid to be a UT fan.
Maybe he'll start wearing it at ballgames too.

That was a little bear. I would have let it go.

Was in the ozarks of arkansas deer hunting. Was headed back down to camp on logging roads.

Came around the corner on my quad and a bear was running down the road.

His hind end was as wide as my 4 wheeler he turned and ran up a slope. Stopped at top of hill and looked at me. His head was as large as a dinner plate.

I've never killed a bear nor do intend to. I only shot what I'm gonna eat.

Anyone up for some fried squirrel and gravy and biscuits??
