I see its trending on Twitter they are adding features Android has had for years with the home screen customization and widgets.

Yeah, they should have done the widgets (apart from the ones you swipe left for) a long time ago. Glad to see it finally coming to iOS though. I think they did it in a nicely designed way. It still looks very iOS like.

Mostly just software stuff besides the release of the new intel-less ARM based Macs coming later this year. The release of iOS 14 and Mac OS 11. I'm not sure how I feel about Mac OS at this point. They've made it look very similar to the iPad.

I skimmed over it. Looks like ipad os getting some more MAC OS functionality too. They are slowly trying to merge the two.

iOS updates look nice. Doubt i will use more than 1 or 2 widgets on the home screen but i do like the app organization feature. I am reluctant to download new apps because they quickly get lost then i forget about them.

They’re definitely trying to unify the OS’s. I believe they said the new ARM Macs will be able to run iPad apps.

Scribble for iPad looks cool.

Well that’s interesting. I may have missed that part.

I‘m excited to see the new 13-inch macbook with Apple silicon that’s supposed to come out later this year. As long as they get developers on board with software, you could have a powerful machine that runs faster, cooler, and longer than anything we’ve seen.

I believe they’re looking at using the A12Z chips that are currently in the iPad Pro, which in it’s current iPad form is already more powerful than their base laptops.

I personally want them to make a 14" macbook pro. think that would be the best size for me

I think that’s coming and I believe it will be a nice improvement. The 13-inch MacBook is a bit small but the 16-inch MacBook Pro is huge.

I’d love to see that 14-inch come with an Apple chip. The heat/thermal issues on recent MacBooks have been ridiculous.

I feel like I've hear that it's been "in the works" for a while now. That's why I wasn't sure if they had just decided not to do it. I thought they might do it at the same time they made the 16" MBP, but obviously that didn't happen

I have a 15" 2018 MBP and that sucker does get hot on your lap

I think most people expected that 14-inch model this year, but we didn’t get it. MacRumors now says it’s expected in 2021. I think it happens.

As for the heat issue, that 15-inch probably isn’t as bad as the current models. Both the newest Air and the Macbook Pro regularly hit 100 degrees, which causes throttling.

And the new 16-inch MacBook Pro seems to perform fine as a laptop, but when connected to an external monitor, it’s having a lot of issues with the power draw of the dedicated AMD chips, causing the fans to have to kick into high gear. Six months after release, the issue still isn’t resolved.

Almost definitely going with the 5.4" or 6.1" iPhone 12 if the new renders/leaks are accurate. I'm tired of getting burned by sh*t hardware on Pixels and I'm loving our new iMac.

The leaked iphone renders do look sleek. Kinda going back to the iphone 4 design. I just got an 11 Pro in January so it would have to be some amazing trade in deal for me to upgrade this time.

I really want a new iMac. Im embarrassed to say how old mine is... but hey, it still gets the job done.

It's one of the "lower end" ones, a slightly older model that Best Buy had on sale. I think we got one with the i5 processor. I honestly can't remember.

I have an iMac that’s 8 years old. My wife still uses it for work. Runs like a champ.

My iMac is 11 years old. I’ve had to replace the hard drive, once. Just not motivated to get a newer ‘puter.

Had an iPhone 5 since the year they were new. I was holding out for a mmW & sub6 5G iPhone of the future, but got the 2020 SE to bridge the gap til that debuts. I’m enjoying the iPhone SE. It’s a much better device than the previous SE model.

SE seems like a solid phone for the price. Not as small as the original SE, but not too big.

I loved my first gen SE. 64gig. everything the 6 had. Perfect pocket phone. The only reason I gave it up for the XR was the $400 wlamart gift card so wife could get neices and nephews xmas. No compalints about the XR. Great iPhone. But I really liked my old SE.

We have an older iMac we bought my son refurbished maybe 4-5 years ago. It's the square thickish one. 20-22" ??forget all the specs now, but it has 2gigs Ram I think and possibly the Core i5. Need to wipe his stuff off it and put it back into commission. It runs great. But, he went gaming PC for more power, etc.
