I do not know. My son does not tell me things that are meant to be kept in the locker room, both good and bad. Also know that many times I tell him stuff that is posted on here that the players do not know yet which is weird. Mine truly has learned what not to comment on and what is okay. Plus this year he has more info due to some roles he has so I just don't ask him for info so he doesn't have to not tell me.
I know both were hurt last year so maybe they are not full speed and 100% yet. The travel roster is limited by number so maybe they are just not on this trip but that does not mean they won't be on the roster for next week or beyond.

I respect it. I hope Evans works out. I saw him pitch in HS against the team that shall not be named. Can’t be caught mentioning my HS alma mater around these parts.

Sorry! Didn't mean to possibly put you on the spot. I think the understanding you and Kirby have is good and keeps the lines drawn clearly and safely.

Rucker mentioned that he got the yips last year. Not sure if that’s still the issue or something else. I had really hoped he might get the Sunday role this year. Now he may not even be on the roster.

It’s a shame because this kid is physically everything you’d want at 6-7 with a power arm. Sounds like it’s all between the ears with him.
