Addressing rumors that running back DeShawn Wynn has been suspended for the season opener against Wyoming, Meyer did not commit either way. Wynn already sat out the Orange and Blue Game for unspecified reasons.

"He had to deal with some issues when I first got here," Meyer said. "We're handling a lot of things within the team. I'm not sure where that (the rumors of a suspension) is coming from, but at the appropriate time we'll discuss it."

ESPN radio had reported the other day that he was suspended.

How can a player get in trouble and it not be all over the news?

I thought this was funny:

Urban Meyer's son will probably one day be the wedge buster on the special teams unit.

We'll have to ask Gatorville what's wrong with Urban Meyer. He's got a player in trouble and he's going to make his son into a battering ram. :D

Surely a Florida player isn't in trouble. That just can't happen with Urban Meyer as the coach.

I'll admit they seem to have done a better job then we did staying out of trouble, but was curious what he did. If it was us it would be all over the nation by now.

Did you read about all of our players that have been in trouble apologizing to the team the other day? Hopefully that was time well spent and everyone has their heads on straight and their eyes focused on the prize now.

He's been spending a lot of time under the desks of the right people since the middle of last year when Utah started getting so much coverage for being "undefeated". He's able to keep most things hidden for now...

. . . And Florida's players just haven't gotten in too much trouble. For whatever reason it may be, Meyer, or some unknown reason. But compared to a lot of other programs around the country of late, including ours, they've been pretty clean.

True, we never heard about any problems @ S. Carolina until Lou left. Beltway may have a point. :dunno:

? Except that there were arrests there last season, not to mention that little round of fisticuffs with Clemson. Of course we heard of trouble with Holtz's team.
