Don't think that is negative, just realistic.
This team does have eight 4-star starters on offense, and six on defense. (along with several 4-star back ups.) The o-line itself is comprised of 4, four star players, and four seniors. They have yet to dominate anyone.

Franklin has not only elevated recruiting at Vandy, but he has produced on the field. He didn't wait on better talent to arrive. He won with what he inherited. Yet, he is constantly ridiculed. UT is at the point where a bowl bid hangs in the balance with must have wins over Vandy and UK. No, the rise is NOT here yet. There hasn't been much I have witnessed scheme wise, or on the field that indicates they've turned the corner.
And no, I didn't expect more than 6-6. I just expected better production on the field by this point of the season. UT was NOT competitive in the last three games. They didn't simply lose, they were embarrassed. Period.
