Well back in the day Army used to play a lot of games at the old stadium against Notre Dame among others, so I'm sure that's why they picked Army.

It's inexact, sure...

But I've always been a supporter of the "If they go .500 or above, put 'em in a bowl" idea. More games at the end of the season can't hurt.

Army might suck, but folks still turn out to see them play. Besides, new coach, new attitude, new beatdowns. Hell, they beat Ball State.

Great, a bowl game in New York the middle of winter...

There's a reason why the bowl games are in the southern portion of the country...

Some of the greatest games in the history of football are cold-weather games. I guess all the northern NFL teams need to stop playing after Thanksgiving.
